ADAMS COUNTY PREVENT-A-LITTER SOCIETY, INC.

Adams County Prevent-A-Litter Society, Inc (ACPALS) is a local, nonprofit, all volunteer organization that raises funds for and promotes spaying and neutering of dogs and cats to decrease the number of unwanted animals in Adams County. To make spaying and neutering more affordable for Adams County pet owners, ACPALS offers discount spay/neuter certificates with participating vets (this service is also available to pet owners who adopt dogs and cats from the Adams County SPCA), a monthly Cat Spay Clinic with Emmitsburg Animal Hospital, and contact numbers for other local animal organizations to provide needed services to Adams County pet owners. 

As a nonprofit organization, ACPALS depends on charitable donations and money that members raise from fundraising events conducted during the year.  We greatly appreciate the continued support and generosity of all the local businesses and individuals whose donations ensure funding is available to support our Adams County spay/neuter programs.
